Rich Robertson pitched 9 strong innings as the San Francisco Giants defeated
the Pittsburgh Pirates 4 to 0 at Forbes Field.
Pittsburgh was unable to claim the lead after San Francisco went ahead in the
top of the 2nd inning scoring a single run. That scoring would be all that
was needed. San Francisco managed 7 in their victory.
