Grant Jackson went the distance and Don Money cracked a homer and had 2 RBI as
the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Cincinnati Reds 4 to 2 at Shibe
Park.

Philadelphia brought 2 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 4th inning.
The crucial at-bat was provided by Money who came through for the home fans
when he blasted a two-run home run (his 3rd of the season). Neither team
managed to score after the 4th inning.

Jackson(5-1) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. Jim Merritt(2-2)
was the losing pitcher. He was not very effective, surrendering 4 runs in 3
and 2/3 innings.
